Conditions for Student Transfer

Students from other schools of medicine in English language (LINK) may transfer to the study of Medical Studies in English if there is compatibility between the curricula and programs for obtaining the professional title of doctor of medicine.

Requirements for the transfer of students from other schools of medicine, apart from the compatibility between the curricula and programs, are as follows:

• passed examinations and met other requirements for regular enrollment in a higher year of study at the school from which the student is transferring,
• knowledge of English language for Medical Studies in English program,
• justification of the transfer,
• grade point average at least 3.5 or 8

Students who want to transfer to School of Medicine, University of Mostar, must submit following scanned documents by email, and originals or verified copies personally or via post. All listed documents bellow must be in English or Croatian language language:

• copy of the Student’s Record Book,
• Certificate from the faculty/school that they are a full-time student at that faculty/school and that they have met the requirements for enrollment in a higher year of study,
• grade transcript with grade point average and ECTS,
• official study curriculum in printed or electronic form, which must correspond to the study curriculum under which the applicant studied
• certified copies of previously acquired educational documents if they have an impact on the total higher education obtained, and a certificate of their recognition in the case  of foreign educational documents
• proof of residence
• a document proving the change of name and/or surname
• statement of the applicant’s consent to check information on acquired education
• other evidence from which one can gain insight into the duration and other conditions of education and the rights granted by the educational document.
