📍 Location: Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Marburg, Germany
📅 Duration: 4 weeks (during August or September, in agreement with the mentor)
💡 Expenses: Travel expenses, accommodation and meals are covered
👤 Mentor: Mirza Pojskić, MD,PhD

👨‍⚕️ Who can apply?
Medical students from BiH who are in their 5th or 6th year of study.

📋 How to apply?
By filling out the application form

📌 Application deadline: June 29, 2025.
📞 For all additional questions: info@bhaaas.com

📝 Selection process:
Applications will be considered during the first two weeks of July, after which interviews will be conducted with a shortlist of candidates. The selected student will be proposed to the Clinic for Neurosurgery in Marburg, and final approval is required by the Department and the hospital’s HR.

🧠 What to expect from practice:
The student will participate in daily clinical work in neurosurgery — including a stay in the ward, intensive care, operating room and outpatient clinic. In addition to the clinical routine, practice also includes attendance at interdisciplinary conferences and the possibility of writing an occasional report for BHAAAS Days and other student symposia.

Students are required to maintain professional behavior and full integration into teamwork with doctors, staff and patients. Upon completion of the internship, the student will receive a certificate, and the best candidates will receive recommendations, and there is the possibility of continuing cooperation through scientific research work.
