After the Regional Symposium of Young Endocrinologists has been successfully held four times, we continue our journey through the countries of the region. The Young Endocrinologists Section of the Croatian Society for Endocrinology and Diabetology launched this major regional project in 2021. The first two symposia were held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They achieved significant success, with around 300 doctors from six countries in the region participating. The 3rd Regional Symposium of Young Endocrinologists took place in 2022 in Osijek. It was an opportunity for in-person networking and further building connections among young endocrinologists. The 4th Regional Symposium of Young Endocrinologists was held in April 2024 in Belgrade. It gathered a large number of participants from the region and beyond, who selflessly shared their experiences on various endocrinological topics (#wegrowtogether – as excellently stated by our colleagues from Belgrade).
