On Thursday, September 25 at 10:30 a.m. CDT, Dr. Samuel Lin will take questions live.

He’s the Program Director of the Harvard Plastic Surgery Residency Program, and the session covers the residency application process, what top programs look for in applicants, and how international medical students strengthen their candidacy in one of the most competitive specialties in medicine.

A program director answering applicant questions directly is a rare thing to be able to offer students. Most of what they get is advice from other applicants.

Feel free to forward this to your students, or paste the block below into your own channel.

We’re hosting an open-floor session for medical students and graduates applying this cycle, or getting ready to. They bring the questions, we answer them straight: rotations, LoRs, the Match, visa timelines, whatever they’re stuck on right now.

Want us to run a webinar for your students?

If you’d rather have a session built around your own cohort, we’ll shape it around them. You bring the date and the audience; we bring the speaker, the topic, and the tech. No cost to you, and nothing for your faculty to prepare.

While, your students get something they can’t get from each other. Every piece of residency advice available to them comes from other applicants: forum threads, group chats, seniors who just went through it. This is an hour with someone who has read the applications and made the decisions, answering their questions directly. Visa timelines, what a personal statement is actually used for, how international status gets weighed. Free, live, and the floor is theirs
